SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

SERVICE SPONSORED BY ST MARK YOUTH MINISTRY

In order for your child to participate in our St. Mark sponsored service opportunities, each child must fill out the appropriate paperwork and sign up for the event.

SIGN UP:

You must sign up as we need to make sure that we have the necessary number of volunteers to be able to carry out the volunteer work. We also need to make sure that we don’t have too many (idle) volunteers; being Idle takes away from their service experience. This also gives us a roster so that we are able to make sure all necessary paperwork is accounted for.

PAPERWORK:

We will need to be able to create a safe environment for your child. The paperwork allows us to have all the necessary information such as medical information and emergency contacts. Also, through the paperwork, parents grant us necessary permissions for the child to participate.

LET US ADORE / ADOREMOS

Did you ever think that offering a prayer for someone, especially someone in need or deceased, is an act of love and mercy? Prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can support others. Joining together in prayer for the living and the dead entrusts us all into God's care. Often prayer is the only access we might have to the heart of a person. It is an act of love to make another the subject of our prayer, to seek the mercy of God’s attention for one in need as we mention an individual name and need.

Let Us Adore is a night of Eucharistic Adoration. The event is completely bilingual. Let Us Adore consists of Eucharistic Exposition, Adoration and Exhortations; all in Spanish and English.

*The event time is from 7:00PM-9:00PM (no registration or sign-up required)

*Thursday, March 28, 2019
